How To Improve Your Gasoline Mileage And Drive More

By: GARKO

Randi Saracoff, 44, from Coral Gables, Fl is taking matters into her own hands! She has originated some effective actions of her own to lower her gas consumption. One thing she is doing is combining her weekly errands into one trip, rather than doing them over separate trips.. She also tries to arrange meetings for her mobile notary service, during non-rush hour times so she doesn't waste gas sitting in traffic. She estimates she is now able to wait two days longer before she has to fill up her tank

She is not alone. Government figures show consumers are doing more to conserve on gas since prices starting going up 4 years ago.
Some gas conservation actions save more gas than

Let’s cover some that get results.

Comparison shopping -
For instance, you will usually find cheaper gas in the outlying suburbs than downtown. It is best to avoid wealthy areas when looking for a cheap fill. Fuel stations near major highway exits can be more expensive than stations further away. You can sometimes save by driving a few blocks from the highway to find a deal.
Look for discounts that are available. Many fuel stations have coupons available for discounts on gas purchases. You can find these, like the back side of supermarket receipts, in the mail coupons, online. Many fuel stations will give you a discount on gas when you also buy a car wash, or visa versa. A great way to save money on gas is by using a gas rebate credit card. Some of these cards can be used at virtually any gas station. A number of fuel station-specific cards are available, but are much more limiting, since you only save money at the same brand station.

TELECOMMUTE –
Telecommuting (working from home as an employee of a company) helps the environment, reduces rush hour traffic, is good for family life and uses less on gas. Talk the boss into allowing you to telecommute at least part of your work time.

Convert Your Engine From gas to Hydrogen –
If you do a partial (hybrid) conversion then you can expect to see savings on your gas consumption of up to 30% maybe more. If you do a full conversion then you will never have to purchase another gallon of gas for the rest of your life. It is really quite easy and costs hardly anything.
