Sculpting the Feminine Form Through Plastic Surgery
The female form epitomizes the true sense of a 3D shape in space. It represnets not only the classic hourglass silhouette, but also profile curves in the form of the breasts and buttocks. Unfortunately, the body lift procedure is a purely one-dimensional correction of the vertical tissue laxity. It does not , however, correct for the circumferential laxity nor for undefined contours and projections. Dr. Agha performs his signature Body Contouring Procedure that aims to return a three-dimensional correction to the tissue laxity. This involves resolving both circumferential and vertical laxity, as well as the third dimension of projection and contour. This third dimension is most applicable to the abdomen, breasts, lower back and buttocks. In most cases, Dr. Agha performs his “High-definition Body Contouring” in 2 stages. This involves about 16 hours of team surgery in total. By using trained physician assistants, Dr. Agha is able to complete each phase of the surgery in around 7-8 hours. Taking into account wishes or what produces the best results, one phase will address the lower body and another phase the upper half. He performs his lower body lift with a three-dimensional depiction of the female body in mind. He begins the procedure at the patient’s back. First the upper back rolls are liposuctioned. The removed fat is then collected in a sterile container, washed with antibiotics and prepared for use in the buttock area as small droplets for buttock lipoaugmentation (otherwise known as the Brazilian Butt lift)or Brazilian Butt lift. Through this approach the projection and contour of the lower buttock regions are enhanced. The upper and lower incisions of the circumferential abdominoplasty are then made on the lower back and the upper buttock, respectively. The lower back tissue, in between the two incisions, is then mobilized as flaps for correction of the upper buttock region. Pockets of an appropriate size are then formed under the upper buttock regions to accommodate these flaps. Then, the buttock is lifted and the incisions are brought together by internally placed absorbable sutures. In this way, the buttock sag and laxity are corrected with a buttock lift, and the volume lost is replaced through your own lower back excess tissues. As a result, buttock projection that is closely associated with feminine beauty and sensuality is returned and at times even enhanced. Many patients enjoy a curvier and fuller buttock than ever before. Dr. Agha then continues the lower body lift procedure by completing the outer thigh lift. The outer thigh tissue is selectively undermined as far as the knee region using a special instrument. It is then elevated and secured at a higher position through deep stitches. Afterwards, he turns his attention to the region of the thigh below the buttocks. To correct laxity of the thigh back, Dr Agha has formulated an innovative procedure that he has termed the Spiral thighplasty. This procedure corrects for the thigh laxity starting below the buttock region. Excess tissue from the upper thigh is removed at the buttock fold, and the thigh is elevated to a higher position. The thigh is then secured to the underlying tissues and the buttock fold is carefully reconstructed. All skin incisions are then closed, and the patient is rotated on the bed and placed on her back with ample help. Dr. Agha then completes the circumferential abdominoplasty in the front, followed by completion of the Spiral thighplasty. The Spiral thighplasty, unlike other thigh lift procedures, reduces thigh excess both vertically and circumferentially. Most of Dr. Agha’s patients notice a substantial reduction in their thigh measurements as well as in their overall size. The hallmark of Dr. Agha’s approach is the restoration contour to the body, as well as placement of symmetrical incisions that are placed low on the abdomen and obscured by a bikini. This combination of procedures can take anywhere from 7 to 8 hours of surgery. During the subsequent phase, the remaining body contouring procedures, including breast reshaping, an upper body lift and an extended arm lift (brachioplasty), are completed. This combination of procedures can take anywhere from 6 to 7 hours of surgery. The second stage is best undertaken once all the incisions of the first stage are fully healed and the nutritional reserves of the patient replaced. Dr. Argha’s patients typically wait 3 to 6 months before commencing with the second stage. The extended brachioplasty corrects for the significant laxity of arm skin and tissue. The upper body lift can be performed as a horizontal incision on the back or a vertical incision on the outer chest. The choice depends on the degree and orientation of back laxity and the patient’s personal preferences and aversions of scars. Finally, he finishes the breast reshaping as described above. Dr. Agha uses liposuction during both the upper and lower body lift to contour and sculpt the underlying tissue to a desired three-dimensional form.
