Why Invest In Rio Grande Do Norte

By: Chelsea Michaels

Rio do Grande Norte is soon to become a global tourism center. Unlike more traditional Brazilian tourist destinations, Natal is closer to Europe and North America and offers a cheaper option for flights, good food, restaurants and hotels. In addition to pristine beaches and temperatures around an ideal 30 °C, this will be the future site of the fourth largest airport in the world. Many major airlines and popular travel agencies are offering direct flights and vacation and holiday packages in order to bring five million travellers a year.

-Say Natal and one thinks of coconut palms marching along a pristine shoreline, sparkling blue water and soft breezes.
-Nearby activities include water activities and riding in sand dune buggies.
-The government of Natal is in the process of constructing the fourth largest airport in the world. Because Natal is the closest of Brazil's regions to Europe, the number of tourist from Europe and North America has continued to increase.
-The bridge connecting Natal City and the beach resorts to the north completed in 2007, thus having the journey time to 25 minutes.
-Prices for tourism and other items are presently three times higher in the south than they are in the north.

Is there really any good reasons to invest in Rio do Grande Norte?

Daily Life
With flights of seven hours from Europe, because it's 4000km closer to Europe, Natal's flights are both shorter and cheaper, so it's becoming a popular destination for holidaying Europeans. Natal also holds the accolade of being the safest capital city in Brazil.

Natal city not only has almost one million inhabitants, but with sunshine 360 days a year and warm temperatures averaging 30 degrees Centigrade, has earned its nickname, The City of Sun.

Unspoilt Beaches

Heading north from Natal City, exploration along the endlessly stunning coast is one of the unique joys of Brazil. Famous spots such as the Genipabu Dunes or the pristine white sand beaches of Cabo de Sao Roque, are an ideal location for swimming, on endless varieties of water sports, dune buggies, and horse rides along the beach.

Furthermore, sports such as kite and windsurfing and Maracajau reef scuba diving are very relaxing.

Tourism Advances

European tourism levels, mainly from Portugal, Spain, Germany, Norway, Sweden & UK are increasing at a rapid pace. American Airlines is expected to be the first US airline next year to operate direct flights to Natal via Miami, five hour flight time, whilst British Airways will fly direct from London. Large holiday companies, like Thomson, are now offering package holidays and charter flights to Natal, at incredibly attractive prices. We are witnessing the beginning of a huge global tourism market. Because of that the demand for resorts, rents, and prices of lands are all rapidly increasing.

When Brazil hosts the FIFA world cup for the second time in 2014 there will be an influx of tourists which will be far more than before. The decision to allow Brazil to host the world cup indicates F I F A is happy that local infrastructure is in place to welcome large visitors. Of the nineteen cities that are interested, Natal will probably be hosting games with the planned construction of a 51,000 capacity stadium.
